Sofia Walters
Hello, my name is Sofia Walters and I am so excited to be the kindergarten teacher at Santa Sophia Academy. I was born and raised in San Diego and attended St. John of the Cross Catholic School for 11 years. Growing up in a Catholic School Community had a big impact on me, and I am so blessed to be back in that environment now as a teacher.
I graduated from Cal State San Marcos with a BA in liberal studies and earned Multiple Subject teaching credential there as well. I was a student teacher in kindergarten and third grade classrooms, which provided me with valuable learning opportunities in different grade levels.As a kindergarten teacher, my goal is to help spark curiosity and a love for learning in my students from the very beginning. I am so happy to be a part of the Santa Sophia school and church community.
