About Mrs. Toma

Hello! I'm Leanora Toma, and I'm thrilled to become part of the Santa Sophia Academy community, a wonderful Catholic school dedicated to nurturing young minds. As the TK teacher, I am eager to inspire a love for learning and foster the faith of our young students.  Being born and raised in San Diego, I feel a deep connection to this community, where I am also happily married and raising two children. My personal experiences enrich my passion for education and child development. I hold my degree from Point Loma Nazarene University, which provided me with a solid foundation in teaching and a commitment to encouraging curiosity and exploration in my students. 
 
My Catholic upbringing has instilled in me values that I am excited to share with our students as I guide them on their educational and faith journeys. It is truly a blessing to be part of a community that aligns with my beliefs, and I look forward to contributing to the growth and development of our young learners.
